All throughout history, man’s vocabulary and languages have evolved in so many ways. In a single nation like China where there are more than 1000 different dialects spread out in every region, it is certainly impossible for a single person to know all of them. For the English language alone, there are so many variations like British English, American English, and, of course, our beloved Taglish. So it’s really not surprising that in a very creative country like ours, phrases and terms with very different (and funny) meanings abound and new ones are invented every day.
